The Royal Cambodia Phnom Penh Golf Club (RCPP) was launched in 1999. It is located in the west of Phnom Penh in what was predominantly rice-growing area on the outskirts of town. RCPP sits on 190 hectares with 18 holes, a full-size international standard. 1st November 2018 marked a new beginning for the RCPP, when it was acquired by Chip Mong. The vision is for it to become the best golf course in the city, providing the best golfing experience for Cambodians, expats and tourists alike.
The RCPP’s 18-hole course is designed to give the perfect balance between challenge and fun. What is special about the RCPP is that it features large tree corridors between each hole, to give golfers a sense of seclusion in which to immerse themselves, not being disturbed by others on the course. Additionally, the RCPP is active in community engagement by recruiting the local community to work as staff. Besides having a combination of Cambodian architecture and state-of-the-art technology, the RCPP contributes to the community by preserving the local environment.
